About Us..
 Tehachapi Veterinary Hospital has been part of our community for well over thirty years,and we expect to be here for many, many more. Prior to 1990 our clinic was located in a small rented building on South Street, and our patients included not only dog and cats, but horses, pigs, sheep, cattle, and pretty much any animal that needed our help. We sometimes had one doctor on staff, sometimes two, and our entire staff was six to ten of us. In those days we spent as much time outside on ranch calls as we did in our veterinary clinic. As our community and it's population of both people and pets grew, so did we..... Our current 5000 square foot hospital was completed in the fall of 1990, and our efforts increasingly were directed at our dog and cat patients, eventually becoming an exclusively small animal practice. In the early years at our new facility, we thought we had all the room in the world, but our community continued to grow.... so did our patients  until we had to expand yet again. In 2004 we opened Tehachapi Pet Lodge & Outfitters, effectively doubling the size of our facilities available for caring for our pet patients. We now boast over ten thousand square foot of hospital, boarding, grooming, and retail space to provide pretty much anything your pet might need. We now have four veterinarians on staff, and a dedicated staff of over sixty individuals all dedicated to making Tehachapi Veterinary Hospital and Tehachapi Pet Lodge & Outfitters.......
